Please be advised our tours are r18 due to the nature of our tours and the New Zealand liquor licensing laws and you may be asked for ID if you look under 25 at any one of our vineyards. Make sure you have a photo ID such as a passport or driver&rsquo;s license with you. If you have teenagers with you, of course, they cannot consume alcohol unless they are 18 and this is at our discretion, not yours. Our group tours with others are not suitable for Children. If you would like to bring your children you may but please book the private tour.

Explore the stunning scenery of West Auckland on our Quintessential Wine Tour, visiting some of the finest vineyards in the region. In the early 20th century, West Auckland became the hub of New Zealand&rsquo;s wine industry, with many small vineyards owned by families of Dalmatian (Croatian) descent. These vineyards are still family-owned, with some now in their 5th generation, showing that winemaking truly runs in their blood.

Our skilled winemaker James Rowan combines time-honoured traditional and innovative techniques to produce hand-crafted multi-award-winning wines including outstanding Chardonnays and Rieslings)</li>
	<li>12pm Hunting Lodge Wine Tastings and Lunch (Home of New Zealand&#39;s original Sauvignon Blanc vines and once a real hunting lodge for the Kerr-Taylor family)</li>
	<li>1:30pm Kumeu River Estate Tour and Tastings (Kumeu River&nbsp;Estate is unequivocally one of the very best wineries in New Zealand, famed for making&nbsp;wines&nbsp;that are widely acknowledged as world class)</li>
	<li>3pm Soljans Estate Wine Tastings&nbsp; (Soljans Estate Winery has been Family Owned for three generations, since 1937, making us the third oldest family-run winery that is still family-run)</li>
	<li>4:30pm transferred back to Auckland CBD</li>

Children up to 12 years old will be charged at a reduced rate, and we can also provide child car seats at an additional cost. It is our company policy to have children under the age of 7 restrained in our vehicles for their safety and our peace of mind.</li>
	<li>It&rsquo;s important to notify Waiheke Wine Tours of any extra items before pick-up, as we may not have sufficient luggage space available. We have one vehicle that has no luggage area, but backpacks are fine. Depending on the vehicle you are in, please ask the admin team.</li>
