All ages; there is something for everything, from babies to seniors alike.

The whole Centre has been designed around wheelchair accessibility and we have beach wheelchairs available for visitors to use. However, please keep in mind that as much as our volunteers would like to help out, they are not allowed to assist visitors into the chairs or help push on the beach due to insurance reasons.

There are four daily feeding times: Rescue turtles &amp; octopus at 9:45 am and 12:30 pm; Offshore Reef Tank with sharks at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.

The facility features themed aquariums ranging from freshwater to offshore reef ecosystems and a unique 360-degree Digital Dolphinarium.

It is an immersive experience, with activity centres, interactive displays, feeding programs and tours that appeal to all age groups. The aquariums tell the story of our region from freshwater rivers to offshore reefs and feature the marine plants and animals of our temperate zone. The centre provides a unique experience that uses embedded technology along with natural displays to create a memorable experience for visitors that complements the wild dolphin experience of our beach Interaction Zone and Dolphin Tours.

The Dolphin Discovery Centre works with the wild Bottlenose dolphins of Koombana Bay and is dedicated to conservation, research and education. The centre is a not-for-profit organisation and thrives on the generosity of about 100 volunteers.

If the dolphins choose to visit the Interaction Zone outside the centre we will make sure we let you know.&nbsp; It&#39;s a great opportunity to see wild dolphins in their natural environment.&nbsp; There are no dolphins in aquariums or ocean pens.
