No, it is illegal to touch dolphins in Australia.
Access to the boat is via the beach and then a step up onto the vessel to board. Wheelchairs can be placed on board but not wheeled on and we aren’t allowed to lift passengers due to OHS. We do have beach wheelchairs available but, again, are unable to assist in pushing the visitor on the sand.

In the summer months, we depart from the beach outside the Dolphin Discovery Centre. In winter, the surge is larger, so we utilise the Pump Beach, which is located a two-minute drive back towards town.
Completely up to you, but we don’t have seasick passengers very often due to our flat bottom vessel, which is very stable. We try to schedule all tours to suit the weather and we have protected conditions in the Bay.
We predominantly remain in Koombana Bay, however, there are times we travel around to the ocean side of the Bay in search of dolphins.
