Ballooning in Cairns takes place in Mareeba which is apart of the Atherton Tablelands. Our self drive meeting location if you are staying close by is at the Mareeba Heritage Center. Mareeba is approximately a 30 minute drive from yungaburra. The meeting times vary summer and winter, we will confirm the time when you book.

Please wait in the lobby/reception of your hotel. Your Hot Air Balloon Cairns driver will come in and collect you so you are not waiting outside in the early hours of the morning. Hot Air Ballooning is very weather dependant so it is important that you are ready to leave when your driver arrives or you will miss your flight.
