The vessels are all stable catamarans, which means they don’t roll as much as other vessels in the Whitsundays. You’re less likely to get seasick on Thundercat than on a monohull. We cannot predict how your body will react on the vessels and some passengers still get sick. We advise that you take a seasickness tablet 30 minutes before stepping on board.

We take up to 38 passengers
A pregnancy waiver must be signed before travel for all pregnant passengers. We are happy for anyone to travel who has been approved by a doctor to be fit and healthy in their second trimester.
If you are in your first or third trimester, we would need a doctor’s certificate before travelling. It is up to the skipper’s decision on the day they are happy for you to travel, depending on the weather conditions that day. Safety for mum and baby is our highest priority.

I’ve seen a lot of beautiful places, but Hill Inlet Lookout might top the list. The colors of the sand and water shifting in the sunlight were unforgettable. Signing up for the tour was simple, and it’s a memory that will always make me smile.

I can’t stop thinking about the view from Hill Inlet Lookout. It’s a short walk to get there, and when you do, it’s like the world opens up—stunning turquoise water weaving through the white sand. Signing up for the tour was easy, and everything felt perfectly timed. Standing there, I felt so lucky to witness something that beautiful in person.

What a fantastic way to spend a day in the Whitsundays! Whitehaven Beach was just as stunning as everyone says, and the lookout at Hill Inlet was one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever seen. The snorkeling was incredible, and the buffet lunch hit the spot after a morning of exploring. I booked this through Backpacker Deals, it was quick and hassle-free—they really take the stress out of planning. This is one of those experiences that stays with you forever—5 stars, no question!

The experience was very good as I got to adventure into the whit Sundays and the Great Barrier Reef snorkelling locations. I also got to have the fun of swimming in the crystal clear waters of white haven beach. The crew was very energetic and nice with Rosie and Peyton giving us information and having smarts as when the tide was low we managed to get on the boat before it marooned us letting us be about 10-15 minutes ahead of the other 2 groups. The boat was small and fast and the food (included) was very nice for such a small boat with a large variety. We got back on time and even saw whales on the way back! The snorkelling was very good as there were to locations, one focussed on coral and the other on fish. In bothe we saw a lot of what we were meant to see so it was very cool and amazing. The only thing wrong is if you die it is not the companies fault (I luckily didn’t die [I wouldn’t go in summer {stingers!}] )

The staff was really nice and kind, ready to answer any question. The chance to snorkel two different times is great and we saw a lot. The Whitehaven Beach is stunning and we had a lot of time there. Definitely recommend it.

Good tour with 2 snorkel spots. I appreciated that the boat stopped and let us enjoy watching whales. Sitting in the inside row was a bit frustrating, I would have liked to see more of the magnificent scenery and less of the heads of my neighbours. We did not go to the South of Whitehaven beach as described, but I was happy we stopped for the whales. Were able to hear them sing even.

Great for snorkelling. Guy driving the boat was nice. Food was not sufficient - tiny square of brownie for morning tea and 3 tiny cuts (melon, orange and pineapple) of fruit on a skewer for afternoon tea. Lunch was okay. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles, rays and lots of fish. Driver stopped boat so we could look at whales and dolphins which was nice. Overall, I would recommend for the snorkelling but bring your own food. Whitehaven was nice but tide was right out. Don’t recommend this tour if you don’t want to snorkel.

Fantastic experience! Snorkeling in two locations, guaranteed to see loads of beautiful Fish & coral.. Hill inlet lookout is spectacular! Plenty of time to spend on the beach. Lovely buffet lunch on the boat. Payton & the crew were fun & kept a close eye on everyone while in the water.. felt very safe. Highly recommend this adventure 👌
