GOOD. You will be offered healthy varied meals every day. Cold salads or sandwiches for lunch, and hot meals cooked in a camp oven for dinner. the tour tries to accommodate dietary preferences as much as possible. There is always a vegetarian option. Make sure to let The Operator know your dietary preferences when you book so they can order the correct quantities before heading out into the bush.

There is a very comfortable camp set up provided, which includes all of the things you might need to stay comfortable outdoors. Comfortable swags, hot tea and good coffee, and delicious freshly cooked meals to eat around the campfire. Your guide is used to helping first time campers get comfortable with the set up.

The weather in Central Australia is usually dry (desert), but there are tents available for the rare night that there is rain.

You will be travelling in a 4x4, with all of your luggage equipment packed into the trailer.

Central Australia is a desert environment - there is a 20ºc difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures, and so you need to be prepared for warm and cold weather. It doesn't rain often, but when it does, it's essential to have the right equipment. The weather is difficult to predict, but generally we see nights between -2ºc to 10ºc and days between 15ºc- 30ºc at this time of year.
