Tangalooma Island Resort latest day trip offering includes a guided snorkel tour through the magical Tangalooma Shipwrecks of Moreton Island. The crystal clear waters that surround the wrecks are filled with over 200 species of fish and 130 species of coral, not to mention 3 different species of marine sea turtle, dolphins and even our resident Wobbegong sharks and stingrays.

&nbsp;

This guided tour begins at the Tangalooma beach front, with a short boat ride to the wrecks, with all snorkel gear provided. The snorkel tour will take around 90 minutes total, including the safety briefing and boat ride from the beach to the shipwrecks. You will enjoy around 35 minutes in the water, giving you ample time to experience the amazing sealife at&nbsp;Tangalooma.&nbsp;

When you are done with your amazing snorkel you can enjoy the resort with your resort access pass. This pass gives you the freedom of enjoying all resort facilities like, two swimming pools, restaurants, and bars (as time permits).&nbsp;

Wild Dolphin Feeding:

Tangalooma&rsquo;s wild dolphin feeding program operates each evening at sunset. The Dolphin Care Team, consisting of Eco Rangers and dedicated staff, run the program which operates to strict guidelines to ensure the protection of the dolphins.

The dolphins come into feed, usually arriving just after sunset, and of their own accord. We never call the dolphins in. It is quite normal for any one of them to be absent from the feed on consecutive nights and this is not something to be worried about &ndash; they are probably having too much fun in the Bay!

Tangalooma only feed each of the dolphins between 10 to 20 percent of their daily food requirement. This ensures they also hunt for themselves and can survive on their own. Herring are fed to the dolphins as they are a species that is commonly found in the Bay.

If you choose to do the snorkel wrecks day cruise WITHOUT the dolphin feeding, there will be a&nbsp;7:30am or 10:00am Brisbane departure and a 4pm departure.&nbsp;

If you choode to do the snorkel wrecks day cruise WITH the dolpin feeding,&nbsp;there will be a&nbsp;7:30am or 10:00am Brisbane departure and a 7pm departure.&nbsp;
