Frequently Asked Questions
You are going on a jet boat, so you are going to get wet anyway… so if it is raining, YES, we still operate. We closely watch the real-time weather radars, and if there is any chance of dangerous weather, we may delay or cancel trips.
Nothing. Just be ready to have some serious fun! It may be a good idea to slap on some sunscreen and have a big drink of water before your ride in the beautiful summer months (Dec – Feb).
Nothing. Unfortunately, you are not permitted to take anything on board for two reasons – we need you holding on at all times, and if someone drops something and it hits you in the head, that would be dangerous…. we are just trying to protect you.
We take many people with many disabilities on the jet boat ride. If you are in a wheelchair, we can help you into the boat; we just require you to be able to use your hands to hold on.
Paradise Jet Boating is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for everyone. They offer adventure rides that cater to a range of physical, sensory, and intellectual abilities. The marina provides accessible car parking and toilets, with safety instructions available in multiple languages. Staff are trained in first aid and CPR, and service animals are welcome in the departure terminal. Carers card holders can avail of a 50% discount. The team is happy to provide further information and assistance to those with accessibility requirements.
People of any age can ride the Aquaduck, even babies. Child rates are available for 2-16 years. 0-1 years are free on their parent’s lap.
Yes, we do. The vessel is fully covered and in wet conditions, we have clear pull-down sides to keep the water out.
No. It does not. Once we are on the water, the skipper will offer all children the opportunity to have a turn at driving the Duck if they wish. If they choose to do so, they will be presented with the Aquaduck Captains Certificate personalised with their name. This is free of charge and part of the Aquaduck experience.
The Aquaduck vessels are not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately. There are 5 steps to climb into the Aquaduck. If you can do the stairs our team are happy to assist you into the duck.
