This combination package does not include accommodation &ndash; guests will need to book their own.

Additionally, entry to Port Arthur Historic Site is not included and will be at guests&#39; own expense. Port Arthur entry is around $47 and includes a self-guided audio experience and a 20-minute harbour cruise.&nbsp;

Finally, the tours do not include meals or food samples, giving guests the flexibility to choose where to eat to suit their individual budgets.&nbsp;

The package includes pick-ups from most central Hobart hotels on each of the days. If you&#39;re staying in a private residence or Air BnB, the Operator will contact you to advise the closest pick-up point.&nbsp;

Bruny Island Day Tour

This is arguably Tasmania&#39;s best day trip! At the end of this day, you will understand why the tourist numbers have doubled in the past four years! Bruny Island has a little bit of everything mainland Tasmania has - world-class beaches, national parks, rugged coastline and native wildlife matched with the finest local produce from the ocean and the land.&nbsp;

While it&#39;s impossible to do everything in one day, your guide has various routes to fit in with the day&#39;s weather conditions and the group&#39;s desires so they can provide the most enjoyable experience. You can expect an active (easy/moderate level) morning with nature walks, albino wallaby spotting, spectacular scenery lookouts, and exploring pristine beaches and lagoon (swimming optional). This tour takes you off the beaten track and into areas that are only accessible by walking tracks that only locals know about.&nbsp;

After an adventurous morning, it will be time to pull back a gear as you head for lunch to either the Bruny Hotel, Cafe, or winery (own expense) &ndash; there are many options to suit budgets and dietary requirements. After lunch, unwind and relax as you sample some award-winning local produce. Berries, chocolate fudge, cheese, beverages and oysters are all possibilities (time pending and at own cost).&nbsp;

Port Arthur &amp; the Tasman Peninsula

&nbsp;

Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula are a must-see and one of Tasmania&#39;s most popular tourist attractions. With its rich history and spectacular scenery on offer, it is easy to see why! This popular tour allows you to experience it all. Jump aboard with one of the friendly, local drivers who will be keen to show you a fantastic day!

En route to Port Arthur, stop at Pirates Bay lookout to soak up the scenery and take a photo or two. Then it&#39;s on to the Dog Line monument at Eaglehawk Neck!

The next stop will have the mouths of sweet tooths watering as you visit the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry. Stop at the beautiful Port Arthur Lavender Farm following the chocolate factory. Explore the unique handmade products from Tasmanian Lavender and stroll the scenic lavender trail.

&nbsp;

Then, it&#39;s on to the Port Arthur Historic Site. Immerse yourself in the fascinating, rich, dark history of Australia&#39;s best-preserved penal settlement. Admission is at your own cost, and the entry fee will include a 20-minute harbour cruise. If history is what you came for, enjoy the full 4 hours exploring the historic site.

Alternatively, if you are up for one more experience, you can hop back onboard the bus after 3 hours for a trip to the Remarkable Cave. Just a short 8-minute drive away, you will be greeted with the spectacular vista of Maingon Bay. At the lookout, you can take in the exceptional views of Penguin Rocks and the bay. You can then descend the 115 steps to view the Remarkable Cave from a viewing platform, where you will be surrounded by ancient sandstone cliffs.

The bus will then return to the historic site to pick up the remaining passengers at 4pm and return to Hobart at 5:30pm.
