Dysart house, Kempton, has been home to the&nbsp;Old Kempton Distillery since November 2015. Onsite they make a variety of spirits including&nbsp;single malt whisky, gin and liqueurs, all made using 100% Tasmanian ingredients. Enjoy a memorable day out with a tour of the distillery and grounds, a guided tasting of four premium spirits, plus a gourmet lunch&nbsp;and a bottle of wine to share.

Your fully guided tour starts with a brief wander through the beautiful Georgian-style Dysart House, which includes a short history of the iconic building and an outline of the distillation process. You will then get the opportunity to go behind the scenes, allowing you a visit through the distillery and bond store.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

The old bond store is full of maturing Whisky and barrels of all different shapes and sizes. Ghost stories are all a part of the history of the house so keep your eyes peeled. Each tour is unique and an amazing opportunity to see how a distillery runs on a day-to-day basis.

Your day then continues with a premium antipasto platter, full of Tasmanian produce to enjoy. To perfectly compliment your lunch, you can choose from a range of Tasmanian wine for a bottle to share between two.

Following your tour and lunch, take a seat in the stunning Cask Lounge, located in the grand coaching inn that is the Old Kempton cellar door. Here you will enjoy a guided tasting of a variety of four Old Kempton Distillery products.

Finish your afternoon with a browse in the cellar door, full of Old Kempton Distillery products, locally-made produce, and souvenirs of your visit to Dysart House, while enjoying a freshly brewed coffee or tea.&nbsp;
