20-minute option:

Fly east from Jabiru Airfield, passing near the Ranger Uranium Mine. Within minutes, you&rsquo;ll reach the border between Kakadu and Arnhem Land, where the flat terrain gives way to the dramatic sandstone escarpments of the Arnhem Land Plateau.

You&#39;ll then soar through the stunning Magela Gorge and explore Dinosaur Valley, named for its impressive erosion formations that resemble ancient, prehistoric landscapes.

30-minute option:

Flying northeast into Arnhem Land, you&#39;ll quickly reach the &quot;Archway,&quot; a striking natural structure at the edge of an outlier&mdash;an island of rock separated from the Arnhem Land Plateau over countless ages. Below lies Mikinj Valley, with seasonal creeks and a large, year-round billabong.

The East Alligator River winds through the valley, its calm dry-season waters and pristine white sands contrasting with the powerful floods of the wet season.
