12 years and older is recommended for kayaking tours.
If you occasionally play sport, walk, work out or are somewhat active you will be fine to kayak. The paddling is not too strenuous.
The Moonlight Kayak Tour's duration is approx. 3 hours.
Regular tours have a maximum of 12 but larger groups can be accommodated.

You may wish to bring along extra water, hat, snacks and a camera. No special clothing is required - just dress appropriately for the weather. A change of clothes is a good idea if you are going out after the tour.
Absolutely. There will be plenty of time for snaps along the way. Disposable waterproof cameras are ideal. You can always ask your guide to hang on to your camera until you need it.
Paddling in the rain is more fun than it sounds! The tours run rain, hail or shine; however, The Operator reserves the right to cancel a tour if it is unsafe. If you are worried about the weather you can check the 4 day forecast for Melbourne before you book.

5/01 @ 6:30 pm. Thank you so much, Mich and company for making my first-time Kayak Tour unforgettable. I felt safe and enjoyed myself the whole duration of the kayak. The tour was cancelled by the operator but I am still happy with the quick response from Paul and team and how the refund was processed. I am hoping to book this again in the future and hopefully it will go ahead next time

Tour was great. We paddled with the sunset behind us most of the time. It’s definitely a team building exercise but it’s fun!

Overall very good experience. Definitely recommend to do this tour if you like to explore Melbourne and the Yarra river by night! 1 star less, as the beginning of the tour was a bit slow (took about 45-60min to get in the water) and also the fish and chips were not tasty at all. Still recommend it though.

Loved this sunset tour of the yarra river! had a great time and the guides cater to both experienced and slower paddlers. Definitely a new way of seeing Melbourne and a must do!
