You will be on the water for approximately one hour. All other parts of the experience are land based and undercover.

No. You will board the vessel via a floating wharf. Assistance will be provided for those needing a steady hand.

DRIVE: One hour north of Sydney, follow the M1 Pacific Motorway and take the Brooklyn/Mooney Mooney exit and&nbsp;follow brown signs to Broken Bay Pearl Farm. Parking available at Shellar Door and Mooney Mooney Club.

 
TRAIN: Closest train station to Shellar Door is Hawkesbury River Station (in Brooklyn) with train only stopping every&nbsp;hour. Bus transfers are available to pre-book with Broken Bay Pearl Farm team from station to Shellar Door.

It is approximately 45 minutes from Sydney, and 90 minutes from Newcastle/Hunter Valley to the Shellar Door at Broken Bay Pearl Farm.

Your tour begins at the beautiful Broken Bay Pearl Farm, nestled along the picturesque Hawkesbury River.

From here, you&rsquo;ll embark on a guided boat tour through the tranquil waters, where the pearl farming magic happens. Learn how expert farmers cultivate Akoya pearls, from oyster care to the intricate process of harvesting these natural gems.
