Start your adventure in the trendiest and most happening spot in Bali - Canggu!

Your tour ends on the final day of your amazing adventure in Indonesia!

The beauty of this group style of travel is that it caters to travellers who are travelling solo and who want to meet and share experiences with like-minded people.

Rooming is organised on a twin-share basis. Solo travellers will be paired with another traveller of the same gender.

There is also an optional single supplement available on most trips for travellers who prefer to have their own room.

Absolutely!

This trip includes some long drives on winding roads. If you experience severe motion sickness, this trip may not be suitable for you.

Some of the best scenery on this trip will be found on hikes. So, while this trip doesn't require a high level of fitness, it's essential to be at least moderately fit if you want to partake in all activities. Please ensure you bring sturdy walking shoes and comfortable clothes.

All countries require a valid passport (with a minimum 6 months validity).

Contact your local embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements, or see your travel agent.

It is your own responsibility to have the correct travel documentation. Visa requirements for your trip will vary depending on where you are from and where you are going.

Yes, travel insurance is compulsory on this trip.

Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping and tipping. Please also remember the following specific recommendations when planning your trip.

You can have a plate of food for a street vendor for AU$2-$10, however there are always more expensive options. From a mid-range, sit-down restaurant, expect to pay AU$10-$30 - not including alcohol.

Whether you have a backpack or a suitcase the main thing to keep in mind is not to bring too much stuff! We strongly recommend that you bring less than 20kgs of stuff with you.

If you haven’t got a backpack yet, try and get one that zips open along the side. There will be places on the tour where you can do laundry, so you don’t need to bring 16 pairs of shorts with you.

As for what to pack for Bali, we suggest:

  • Light and breathable clothing:

 - Loose-fitting tops and t-shirts
 - Shorts and skirts
 - Sundresses and casual outfits
 - Lightweight, long-sleeved shirts for sun protection

  • Swimwear:

 - Bathing suits
 - Board shorts
 - Rash guard for water activities

  • Footwear:

 - Flip-flops or sandals for the beach and walking around town
 - Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers for more active excursions

  • Sun protection:

 - Sunscreen (high SPF)
 - Wide-brimmed hat or cap
 - Sunglasses with UV protection

  • Insect repellent:

 - Mosquito repellent with DEET or a natural alternative

  • Medications and personal items:

 - Prescription medicines (make sure they are legal in Bali)
 - Personal hygiene products
 - First-aid kit with band-aids, antiseptic cream, etc.

  • Electronics:

 - Universal power adapter
 - Portable charger or power bank
 - Light rain jacket or poncho

  • Travel documents:

 - Passport and visa (if required)
 - Travel insurance details
 - Flight tickets and hotel reservations

  • Cash and cards: Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and/or international credit/debit cards
  • Daypack or beach bag
  • Light sweater or shawl
  • Respectful clothing for temples
  • Sarong or a cover-up for visiting sacred sites
  • Waterproof phone case or pouch
  • Portable umbrella
  • Portable WiFi device

We would recommend packing as light as you can on this trip, while there is private transportation at most points throughout the tour, you do take fast ferries between Bali, Nusa Penida and Gili T so a backpack or a lightweight suitcase will make this leg of the trip easier.

We strongly recommend that you bring less than 20kgs of stuff with you.

Imagine funky hotels and Indonesian lodges with breathtaking mountain views, or epic spots with stunning beachside or infinity pools.

Whether you prefer the eco-friendly vibe of an ecolodge, the chic ambiance of a boutique hotel, or the lavishness of a luxury stay, they've got you covered! And, the best part is that you'll be spending your nights in cozy twin shared rooms.

For those of you who crave more personal space, single upgrades are available. Get ready to embark on an adventure of a lifetime!

If you have an existing medical condition or disability that may affect your trip or how the Operator delivers your experience, they ask that you inform them in writing at the time of your booking. While travelling on this tour, you'll experience a vast array of wonderful food. Your group leader will be able to suggest restaurants to try during your trip. To give you maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat, only some meals are included in this tour price.

This also gives you more budgeting flexibility. As a rule, groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. If you have dietary requirements and/or food allergies, please let The Operator know at the time of booking or prior to departure.
