So powerful it brought tears to my eyes and made me proud to belong to this country with its fantastic history of leading the world in deep-ocean navigation. Kupe was blasting around the Oceanside of the planet wen our European ancestors were still afraid to lose sight of land. Unforgettable. As a retired teacher I say that every Kiwi child deserves to see this presentation as an essential part of their education. It will give them pride in the ancient human history and the indigenous culture of their nation.

It's interesting to see that there is still a Maori village. The cultural performance was excellent, and your tour guide gave a very good explanation of how the Maori live.
