The scenic cruise from Queenstown to Walter Peak takes 45 minutes and it takes in views of Walter Peak, Cecil Peak and the Remarkables mountain range plus panoramic views around Lake Wakatipu.

Please allow an additional 30 minutes to find parking for your vehicle prior to your check-in time. &nbsp;

There is limited free street parking available in the streets surrounding central Queenstown. There is paid parking available in the Man Street and Church Street parking buildings plus pay and display parking at the Boundary Street and Ballarat Street carparks.

Boundary Street and Ballarat Street carparks are suitable for motorhomes. Please allow 15 minutes to walk to the Real Journeys office from there.

Experience what life is like on a working farm in&nbsp;New Zealand&nbsp;with this guided tour of&nbsp;Walter Peak High Country Farm.&nbsp;The farm, which is located outside of&nbsp;Queenstown,&nbsp;is the perfect escape from the city for a day.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Tours depart from&nbsp;Queenstown Bay&nbsp;and will transfer you to and from the farm via a&nbsp;vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw.&nbsp;There is a&nbsp;licensed cafe on board&nbsp;the TSS Earnslaw in case you&#39;re in need of any refreshments along the way.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Once at the farm, you will have the chance to feed and interact with the&nbsp;sheep, cows, dogs, alpacas&nbsp;and even&nbsp;deer&nbsp;that live there.&nbsp;Visitors of all ages will love the chance to observe&nbsp;sheepdogs working&nbsp;and watch a live&nbsp;sheep-shearing&nbsp;demonstration. You will also have plenty of time to explore the grounds, which include a&nbsp;lakeside garden&nbsp;and plenty of&nbsp;sunny courtyards.&nbsp; 
 
Once you get peckish, enjoy a&nbsp;morning or afternoon tea&nbsp;of freshly-baked scones, cakes and slices made right at the farm. There is also a&nbsp;gift shop&nbsp;if you&#39;d like to take home a souvenir from your visit.

After some more time around the farm, it&#39;s time to return to&nbsp;Queenstown&nbsp;via the steamship. Tours run daily and depart at&nbsp;10 am, 12 pm&nbsp;and&nbsp;2 pm&nbsp;(plus&nbsp;4 pm&nbsp;from&nbsp;22 Jan - 2 Feb).
