Your tour begins at 9.00 am&nbsp;with&nbsp;an instruction&nbsp;brief from your guides, where you&#39;ll learn how to paddle and use your kayak. Once you feel comfortable it&#39;s time to head onto the water.&nbsp; 
 
Here, on the calm waters of Lake McLaren is where serenity takes a new name. Enjoy an&nbsp;easy, peaceful tour and spot some of New Zealand&#39;s native wildlife along the way. Glide past a multitude of birdlife, and watch the winding streams enter the lake&#39;s edge. Bliss! 
 
As you paddle, you&#39;ll learn about the history of the land from the comfort of your kayak.&nbsp; Listen to your guide as they tell you fascinating information about the area.&nbsp; 
 
Then, follow your guide into the stunning Mangapapa canyon. This is a stunning natural wonder, where native bush appears to touch and form a cave. Paddling through this naturally formed archway is a magical experience!&nbsp; 
 
After approximately 1.5 hours on the water, it&#39;s time to head back to the river bank. 
 
This experience runs for&nbsp;approximately 3 hours in total and is suitable for all ages.&nbsp;You are led by professional guides and no kayaking experience is necessary.&nbsp;
