Your cruise will leave right from the Wanaka lakefront by the old jetty and the log cabin. Just look for a big white catamaran. If you have a phone or GPS put in 100 Ardmore street Wanaka or Google Lake Wanaka Cruises.

All cruises require a minimum of 2 guests booked to run. You will be advised 1 hour prior to the departure time if there are insufficient bookings to run the cruise. If the cruise is cancelled you will receive a full refund or a free upgrade to another cruise.

Please do not bring take-away food aboard. The Operator is fully licensed so they do not allow alcohol to be brought on board. You can purchase snacks, beers, wines, RTD&#39;s and non alcoholic drinks on board for a very reasonable price. In fact they are often called the cheapest bar in Wanaka!

Enjoy a scenic cruise on the crystal clear waters of Lake Wanaka to the remote Mou Waho Island nature reserve, home of the lake, on an island, in a lake!

Mou Waho Island is a predator free Department of Conservation reserve and home to many native birds not seen on mainland NZ. Here you can see first-hand results of conservation efforts including the rare flightless Buff Weka (extinct on the mainland since 1920), the Mountain Stone Weta and many other native birds.

&nbsp;

A two hour guided nature walk is included, which takes you up to the natural glacial lake right on top of the island and magnificent mountain and lake scenery in every direction. Your guide will share some of the ecology and fascinating history of this entrancing island. With extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna, geology and both colonial and Maori history, there is so much you will learn from your guide.

	- If you cancel at least 30 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. Any credit card fees and refund fees charged will be deducted from any refund made.

	- If you cancel less than 30 days and more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure, a $10 cancellation fee will be charged, and any credit card fees and refund fees charged will be deducted from any refund made.

	- If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.

	- No refunds for no shows.
