On this 3-hour guided walking tour, learn the history of pizza and the story of the beatniks, see famous landmarks and taste a few local favourites. This immersive drinking and food experience is filled with hidden gems and local watering holes you are sure to love.

Start the evening by skipping the line at an award-winning pizzeria, Tony&rsquo;s Pizza Napoletana. Here you will try two to three styles of pizza accompanied by a glass of wine&nbsp;and learn the story of Tony, a local hero.

Feeling primed, start your stroll around the neighbourhood as your host shares stories&nbsp;about&nbsp;how North Beach became the perfect fusion of Italians, hippies, and beatniks. Take a peek at the church where Marilyn Monroe took her wedding photos, check out the first strip club in America, and see a graffiti piece by the famous street artist Banksy.&nbsp;

After sampling a New York-style slice at a local establishment, head to a one-of-a-kind pizzeria with Sicilian-style slices at a local watering hole. With grunge vibes, this spot is the perfect place to sip on a local beer while munching on cheesy goodness.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

To top off the eating portion of the evening, visit a local cafe to taste an Italian dessert, tiramisu.&nbsp;Full and ready, head next to the oldest bar in San Francisco to experience the city&#39;s first dive, with some very interesting characters. End your memorable experience by heading to a few more local spots before your guide will leave you with a&nbsp;list of other fantastic pubs to keep the party going.
