While the Diamond Head hike is essentially for beginners, a moderate level of fitness would be required due to the elevation. The round trip is around 2.5km and takes approximately 2 hours to complete, with sections of the climb all stairs and quite steep. It is not recommended to participate if you meet any of the following conditions; heart disease, respiratory disease, high blood pressure, pregnancy, anemia, a feeling of unwellness or have small children.&nbsp;

Get picked up from your hotel or the closest pick-up point to your hotel in the Waikiki/Kahala&nbsp;area between 5:30am and 5:45am. The exact pick-up location and time will be confirmed one day before the tour by email or phone.&nbsp;

Find your adventurous spirit as you hike to the summit of Diamond Head Crater, learn about Hawaiian culture and discover some of the hidden gems of Oahu as you travel up the east coast of the island on this small-group guided adventure. Stop off at all the top sightseeing spots along the way, taking in the scenery of stunning beaches and blowholes, and sampling some regional produce at local farms and fruit stalls&nbsp;en route to the famous North Shore.

Rise early and join your friendly local driver guide as you are collected from your Waikiki / Kahala accommodation around 5:30am to head to the Diamond Head State Monument. Join the hike to the summit of Diamond Head Crater, where you will be rewarded with incredible aerial and panoramic views over Waikiki.

After the hike, relax in the air conditioning as you are taken to&nbsp;the Halona Blowhole. Enjoy the magnificent view as it&nbsp;sprays out water from the Pacific Ocean as well as the Halona Cove, a small secluded beach often used in movies.

Sample some locally grown macadamias from the Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut Farms, before heading to Kualoa Regional Park, famous for its amazing views of Mokolii Island (Chinaman&#39;s Hat). The beautiful mountainous backdrop framing the white-sand beach provides the&nbsp;perfect photo opportunities.&nbsp;

A lunch stop will be provided at the Kahuku Sugar Mill Food Trucks, offering a vast selection of options at your own cost. Some of these include&nbsp;Giovanni&#39;s Shrimp - Shrimp Scampi, Mike&#39;s - Huli Huli Chicken, Seven Brothers - Paniolo Burger, the Da Bald Guy - Braised Short Rib and Chef Kale - Lobster Dog and their vegan/vegetarian meals. Then enjoy some farm-fresh goods such as papaya, dragonfruit, coconut, apples and more at the roadside Kuilima Fruit Stand.&nbsp;

Arriving at Sunset Beach, you will enjoy the breathtaking views of North Shore&#39;s most famous beach.&nbsp;In the wintertime, you may get the opportunity to watch big-wave surfing with swells up to 30 feet tall, along with the world&#39;s premier surfing competitions. Next, head to Haleiwa Beach Park, which offers a great spot for a chance to see Hawaiian green sea turtles in their natural habitat.&nbsp;

Finish the perfect day with a stop off at the Dole Plantation where you can try some of their famous Dole Whip (pineapple soft cream), as well as do some shopping and sightseeing before being dropped back at your accommodation at approximately 4:30pm.&nbsp;
